Fabrikraum Zine Workshop
Join our Fabrikraum Zine Workshop to celebrate the power of women’s stories and solidarity. Inspired by historic Women’s Matinée and Golden Day gatherings, this two-day creative experience invites up to 14 women to explore making a zine — a hands-on craft of independent, handmade publications that amplify diverse voices. Through writing, collage, painting and simple folding and stapling techniques, participants will craft a unique fanzine reflecting collective memory and archive feminist resistance. We will revive this tradition of women’s creative circles and co-create a collaborative zine to foster our community, connection and liberation through art and storytelling.

The program will be followed by musical and poetry performances by Kitana Project and Anela Čindrak.

I was born in the middle of the 80s in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia. Since I was a child, I have been passionate about art and pursued my interest by attending painting and drawing classes with my grandmother. At the age of 17, I began my journey in the field of visual arts at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where I studied until 2006. Subsequently, I moved to Florence, Italy, to pursue my dream of painting and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2011. Following this, I relocated to Bologna and completed a master's degree in illustration for publishing in March 2014. Currently, I reside in Vienna, where I continue to explore my passion for art through freelance work and personal research. I am also actively involved in the promotion of cultural exchange, illustration, printmaking, and holistic togetherness as a co-founder and member of the associations Die Druckstube, IRARU and Femlink. My responsibilities within these associations have included layout, design, planning, and communication for various cultural events, contributing to the enrichment of artistic and communal spheres while fostering creativity and togetherness. I proudly identify as a native Colombian, with a deep love for Italian culture, and have embraced Vienna as my adopted home.
